They must not provide hints, explanations, or any form of assistance to participants and must not be involved in entering or submitting answers for the team they are supervising.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1784820682077{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"color: #000000;\">Center Manager \u2013 Roles and Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>The\u00a0<strong>Center Manager<\/strong>\u00a0oversees the Team Competition at their competition center.<\/li>\n<li>The Center Manager is responsible for selecting the\u00a0<strong>date, time, and location<\/strong>\u00a0of the Team Competition.<\/li>\n<li>A Team Competition Center must host at least <b>4 teams<\/b>\u00a0(minimum\u00a0<b>10 students<\/b>).<\/li>\n<li>Every team must have a\u00a0<strong>Coach<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The\u00a0<strong>Coach<\/strong>\u00a0registers a team of\u00a0<strong>2\u20134 students<\/strong>. All team members must be registered\u00a0<strong>at the same time<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The Center Manager communicates with teams\u00a0<strong>through their Coaches<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>A\u00a0<strong>Center Manager<\/strong>\u00a0may also serve as a\u00a0<strong>Coach<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>However, if the Center Manager is also the Coach, they\u00a0<strong>may not serve as the Proctor<\/strong>\u00a0for their own team, as a Coach is not permitted to supervise their team&#8217;s test.<\/li>\n<li>In this situation, the Center Manager\/Coach is responsible for recruiting volunteers and appointing another qualified individual to serve as the\u00a0<strong>Proctor<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The\u00a0<strong>Proctor<\/strong>\u00a0must be independent of the team being tested and is responsible for administering the competition in accordance with the Team Competition Rules.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"gmail_signature\" dir=\"ltr\">\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1757426335115{background-color: #FFFFFF !important;}&#8221;][vc_tta_tour style=&#8221;flat&#8221; shape=&#8221;square&#8221; color=&#8221;blue&#8221; spacing=&#8221;3&#8243; gap=&#8221;5&#8243; active_section=&#8221;1&#8243; no_fill_content_area=&#8221;true&#8221; el_class=&#8221;wh-custom-tabs&#8221;][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Before Test Day&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1757426277509-a2585c01-5688&#8243;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>Confirm capacity<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: The number of teams entered on your Center Confirmation Form should match the number you can comfortably host.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>Register teams<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Use your Center ID in the Team Registration Form. Teams consist of 2\u20134 students, with a captain and an optional coach.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>Communicate with parents<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Share logistics, arrival time, and contest duration.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>Schedule test time<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Choose any date and time in the November 13\u201320 window.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\"><b>Prepare rooms<\/b>: If multiple teams are in the same room, avoid placing teams of the same level next to each other. Large rooms are suitable if teams are sufficiently spaced apart.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;On Test Day&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1757426277515-3049bed1-f91d&#8221;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-section-id=\"r9wtrf\" data-start=\"124\" data-end=\"173\">Team Test Administration (Paper-Based Format)<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"175\" data-end=\"337\"><strong data-start=\"175\" data-end=\"191\">Test Format:<\/strong><br data-start=\"191\" data-end=\"194\" \/>The contest consists of a mix of multiple-choice and open-response questions. Each team will complete the test using printed contest materials.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"339\" data-end=\"358\"><strong data-start=\"339\" data-end=\"356\">Answer Sheet:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"359\" data-end=\"606\">\n<li data-section-id=\"hqgywt\" data-start=\"359\" data-end=\"432\">Each team receives <strong data-start=\"380\" data-end=\"409\">one Scantron answer sheet<\/strong> for the entire team.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"fjqjth\" data-start=\"433\" data-end=\"518\">Teams must work together and record their final answers on the team answer sheet.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1kjwk42\" data-start=\"519\" data-end=\"606\">The completed answer sheet must be submitted within the <strong data-start=\"577\" data-end=\"605\">60-minute testing period<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"608\" data-end=\"706\"><strong data-start=\"608\" data-end=\"617\">Time:<\/strong><br data-start=\"617\" data-end=\"620\" \/>Teams have <strong data-start=\"631\" data-end=\"645\">60 minutes<\/strong> to solve the contest problems and complete the answer sheet.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"708\" data-end=\"742\"><strong data-start=\"708\" data-end=\"740\">Proctoring Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"743\" data-end=\"1109\">\n<li data-section-id=\"18w44ln\" data-start=\"743\" data-end=\"843\">Before the contest begins, proctors must review and announce all contest rules and instructions.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"oocw3n\" data-start=\"844\" data-end=\"971\">Proctors monitor teams throughout the testing period and ensure that there is <strong data-start=\"924\" data-end=\"968\">no communication between different teams<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"15bxppa\" data-start=\"972\" data-end=\"1019\">Parents may volunteer to serve as proctors.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"jwltyo\" data-start=\"1020\" data-end=\"1109\">Proctors should not provide assistance with solving problems or interpreting questions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1111\" data-end=\"1141\"><strong data-start=\"1111\" data-end=\"1139\">Answer Sheet Collection:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1142\" data-end=\"1383\">\n<li data-section-id=\"knvmef\" data-start=\"1142\" data-end=\"1252\">At the end of the 60-minute testing period, proctors collect the completed <strong data-start=\"1219\" data-end=\"1249\">team Scantron answer sheet<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"knvmef\" data-start=\"1142\" data-end=\"1252\"><strong>Last 5 minutes:<\/strong> Ensure teams (captains) complete their answer sheets. There is no penalty for incorrect answers on multiple-choice question. Leave only open-response questions blank if necessary.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1lk1ddm\" data-start=\"1253\" data-end=\"1383\">Proctors verify that the team name\/identification information is complete and submit the answer sheet to the <strong data-start=\"1364\" data-end=\"1382\">Center Manager<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1385\" data-end=\"1480\"><strong data-start=\"1385\" data-end=\"1422\">Material Collection and Security:<\/strong><br data-start=\"1422\" data-end=\"1425\" \/>Proctors must collect all contest materials, including:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1481\" data-end=\"1617\">\n<li data-section-id=\"1mq4u6l\" data-start=\"1481\" data-end=\"1512\">Team Scantron answer sheets<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"19vqaha\" data-start=\"1513\" data-end=\"1540\">Contest question sheets<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"jgwnv4\" data-start=\"1541\" data-end=\"1584\">Solution\/reference sheets (if provided)<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"jf8oj6\" data-start=\"1585\" data-end=\"1617\">Student scratch\/draft papers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1619\" data-end=\"1908\">All materials must be submitted to the <strong data-start=\"1658\" data-end=\"1676\">Center Manager<\/strong> immediately after the contest. The Center Manager is responsible for securely storing all contest materials and ensuring that they are <strong data-start=\"1812\" data-end=\"1907\">not shared or disclosed to students, parents, or other participants until December 20, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;After Test&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1757426370435-d6c6e17d-cbb7&#8243;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Center Manager will:<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Upload a scan or photo of each signed paper answer sheet to MK within 3 days after the competition.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Report any irregularities or issues (technical, proctoring, or student-related) to the MK Team.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Share feedback about the process. Your observations will help us improve future competitions.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][\/vc_tta_tour][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>Reminders<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To protect the integrity of the Math Kangaroo Team Competition, all test papers and answer sheets must be collected and secured immediately after the competition. Please do not distribute, copy, or share any competition materials.<\/li>\n<li>Private centers will receive a direct registration link.
