Our mission is simple: to move beyond "math problems" and toward "math culture." Through the eyes of our curious hero, Kanga the Kangaroo, and a cast of quirky friends, children will explore how mathematical concepts have shaped human history, geography, architecture, and art. We want kids to fall in love with the story of math.
Episode 1
In the first episode, Kanga travels to Ancient China and encounters the Lo Shu Square along the Luo River. By analyzing the balance properties of the world’s oldest known magic square, Kanga demonstrates how ancient mathematical ideas connect directly to the logic of modern Math Kangaroo problems.
