The Math Kangaroo Team Competition is a new program designed to bring students together to solve math challenges collaboratively. Teams of 2–4 students work through a set of engaging problems in a fun and supportive environment that promotes teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills.

The competition is held in person at participating Math Kangaroo Centers across the United States.
