Online Classes – Guidelines

  1. No make-up lessons.
  2. No prorated fees.
  3. Teachers will share the missed class summaries (PDFs) that have already been sent to all students.
  4. Teachers are not obligated to review missed material with a student; parents are responsible for helping their child catch up.

Exploring, Level 1-2, Set C: 

SET C (different than Sets A and B) 

Limited Enrollment: Registration ends when all spots are filled.

Schedule: Date and time are listed in the class title. Duration: 10 hours total (5 sessions x 2 hours, daily) or (10 sessions x 1 hours, daily) . Format: 55m Lesson | 10m Break | 55m Lesson.

Interactive Learning: Students are expected to participate actively. Our instructors use proven engagement techniques to keep students involved throughout the lesson.

Class Information:

  • Students with limited or no math competition experience are invited to join the Exploring course.
  • In this course, students will be introduced to problem-solving strategies and techniques, developing speed, accuracy, and attention to detail through a mixture of games, puzzles, and plenty of quick Math Kangaroo questions. Students will enhance their mental math skills, calculation fluency, estimation, and ability to determine the reasonableness of answers.
  • The topics include addition and subtraction, number sense and calculation fluency, patterns and sequences, basic multiplication and division, money and time, shapes and symmetry, logical reasoning and critical thinking.
  • There will be no mandatory homework assigned but students are welcome to review and finish the problems solved in class.
  • This class is planned to meet 5 times for 2 hours each.
  • The class size: 12 students.

Mental Math • Logic Games • Patterns • Draw It Out • Work Backwards • Make a Table or a List • Guess and Check • Spatial Thinking

Navigating, Level 3-4, Set C: 

SET C (different than Sets A and B)

  • In this course students will gain proficiency in problem-solving strategies and techniques, developing speed, accuracy, and attention to detail through a mixture of games, puzzles, and plenty of quick Math Kangaroo questions. Students will enhance their mental math skills, calculation fluency, estimation, and ability to determine the reasonableness of answers.
  • There will be no mandatory homework assigned but students are welcome to review and finish the problems solved in class.
