Team Format

  • Teams consist of 2–4 students.
  • A team competes in the division of its highest-grade member (e.g., if the oldest student is in 5th grade, the team plays in Division 5–6).
  • While students in adjacent grades take the same level test (e.g., Level 5-6 for Grades 5 and 6), results are ranked separately by grade. Accordingly, a team with a 5th grader as the oldest student will be ranked with Grade 5 teams, not with Grade 6 teams.
  • Each team consists of a Coach. The minimum requirement for the Coach is to help form teams of 2–4 students and complete registration and payment for the team competition. Optional tasks include (but are not limited to): hosting practice sessions, helping the team define roles, and developing strategies for competition day.
  • Each team selects a Captain. The Captain, with supervision of the proctor only, enters the team’s answers online.

Competition Rules

  • Duration: 60 minutes.
  • Problems: 24 questions for Grades 1-4 ;
    30 questions for Grades 5-12.
  • Collaboration is allowed within each team only.
  • Only one device per team is allowed to submit answers.
  • The Captain should confirm answers with the team before submission.

Proctors ensure fairness, timing, and proper submission during the competition. A coach or Center Manager may serve as a proctor. Parents may also volunteer as proctors or coaches, with Center approval. Please note: the online submission period is separate from the official test time.

Awards and Recognition

  • Certificates for all participants.
  • Recognition for top-performing teams nationally
  • Medals to the winning teams.

  • Grades 5 and above: 30 questions total — 20 MCQ and 10 SAQ

Backup: A printable answer sheet signed and time-stamped by the proctor, uploaded after the round.

Paper Answer Sheets Submission

  • One or more proctors per room supervise teams.
  • Parents may volunteer as proctors.
